-Highly resistant to carbon dioxide ions. Does not crack.
-Resistant to freeze-thaw cycle.
-White color has UV resistant.
-Can be safely used in drinking water tanks
Method of Practice:
a) New Surfaces: First, fix any damaged or uneven areas. In hot weather conditions, moisturize the surface with water 5 minutes before the application. On walls built by gas concrete, a Mantosıva Universal Primer must be applied 1 or 2 hours before the PoliSeal®75-HW2 application. On exposed concrete walls, PoliRepair 35 must be applied on the wall with a 4 mm notched trowel 12 hours before the PoliSeal®75-HW2 application. When these processes are complete, Ano laths, which determine the thickness of the Mantosıva, must be nailed onto the surface with suitable spacing. Following this, fill the gaps in between the Ano laths with PoliSeal®1589-HW2 by hand or using a plastering machine. The laths can be removed 4-5 hours after this process, when the material is pre-dried. Fix the surface by filling in the gaps between the laths.
b) Old Surfaces: First, fix any damaged or uneven areas. Scrape and clean any paint that blisters or tends to blister. Following this, the surface must be notched thinly and 1 layer of Polirepair 35 must be applied onto the wall with a 4 mm notched trowel.
12 hours after these processes are complete, Ano laths determining the thickness of the Mantosıva must be nailed onto the surface with suitable spacing. Following this, fill the gaps in between the Ano laths with Mantosıva by hand or using a plastering machine. The laths can be removed 4-5 hours after this process, when the material is pre-dried. Fix the surface by filling in the gaps between the laths.
Mixing Method:
To mix, use an appropriate 30-40 lt mixing container with a high-volume capacity.
A 25 kg bag of PoliSeal®75-HW2 can be mixed with 6-7 lt of water. After calculating how much water to use, pour 80-90% of this amount into the mixing container, add the full amount of 25 kg bag of PoliSeal®75-HW2, and mix with a 500-600 rpm mixing drill. Adjust the consistency by adding the remaining water if necessary, rest for 3 minutes, and mix for 2 more minutes.
Do not add any other materials to the mixture. Dispose of the used packaging waste by placing it in the nearest Türkçev waste container or those designated by the local government/municipality.
Coverage:
6-6,5 kg/m2 For 5 mm thickness
Storage:
Must be stored in unopened original packing and in cool and dry environment protected from freezing. In short-term storing, maximum 3 palettes can be stowed on top of each other and delivery has to be according to first in first out system. In long-term storing, the palettes must not be stowed on top of each other. 18 months after the production date under appropriate storing conditions.
Watch Points:
-Wait for the appropriate ambient and substrate temperature if it is less then 5oC or more than 35oC. Also application should not be made in very hot, rainy or windy weathers.
- PoliSeal®75-HW2 applied in +23 C gains mechanic strength after 2 days, becomes impermeable to water after 7 days and gains final strength after 14 days. In exterior surface applications, the surface must be protected from sun, wind, frost or rain during the first 24 hours.
-Working and reaction time of cement based hydropobic systems are affected by environment and ground temperature and relative humidity in the air. Low temperatures slow down the chemical reaction and increase working period, coating time and work time. Also coverage decreases because viscosity increases. High temperatures accelerate the chemical reaction and times stated above are reduced depending on this. For the material to complete its curing, environment and ground temperatures must not fall down below the minimum allowed value.
Cleaning of Tools:
All the tools and equipments must be cleaned by water after the application. After PoliSeal®75-HW2 is hardened, it can only be removed from the surface mechanically.
