PoliFloor®65-B, Basalt Aggregated Surface Hardener

DESCRIPTION 
PoliFloor®65-B, is a cement based, mineral and basalt aggregated surface hardener designed to be applied as a dry shake over freshly floated surface concrete which will be exposed to heavy duty.

FIELD OF APPLICATION 
PoliFloor®65-B, is designed to ensure durability in applications where floor is subject to medium and heavy traffic and where a non-dusting surface is required. It will improve and enhance the performance of all concrete floors.

FEATURES and BENEFITS
PoliFloor®65-B has the following characteristics; 
-Easily applied on freshly floated surface concrete. 
-With its modified polymers, it absorbs the water of the surface concrete on which it has been applied and forms a monolithic structure with bare concrete. 
-Do not oxidize. 
-Hardener applied surface is 4-6 times more resistant to abrasion than bare concrete. 
-Contains properly sized and graded corundum aggregate. 
-Resistant to freeze-thaw circle. 
-Resistant to flaking due to the salt application against freezing. 

WATCH POINTS
-Duringapplicationtheambientandthefloortemperatureshould not be lessthan +5°C andmorethan +35ºC. 
-Thesurfacehardenerapplicationsshouldbecarriedoutbysuitablyqualifiedapplicators. 
-TheSurfaceHardenersareonlyaimedtoincreasetheabrasionandimpactresistance of a surface; theyhavenoeffect on mechanicalstrengths (flexural, tensile andcompression) of theconcrete on whichtheyareapplied.
Therefore, theconcreteshould be designed in accordancewiththemechanicalloadsthataffectthesurfacethereof.  
-Thethickness of thescreed on which PoliFloor®65-B will be appliedshould be morethan 7 cm, thewater/cementratioshould be over 0.45 andtheconcreteclassshould be C25 at least.

CONSUMPTION
Based on thepurpose of useandtrafficload 4-8 kg/m2. Forlightcoloredapplications, theapplicationshould not be lessthan 7 kg/m2. 

PACKAGING, STORAGE, SHELF LIFE
PoliFloor®65-B, is packaged in 25 kg moistureresistantbagsandbigbags. Do not usetheproductifbag is damaged. Keptfrost-freeanddry, PoliFloor®65-B can be storedfor 12 months in thetightlyclosedoriginalpackages.
